Closure of Victoria's Skilled Visa Nomination Program 2023-2024

In July 2023, the Australian Government allocated 3,300 skilled visa nomination spots to the state of Victoria.

Of these 3,300 allocated spots:

• 2,700 were for Subclass 190 visa

• 600 were for Subclass 491 visa

As of April 2024, about 3,200 of these nominations have been issued. That means there are still about 100 spots available!

The Victorian state Government has announced that they will not be accepting new Registration-of-Interest (ROI) at 5pm AEST on Tuesday, 23 April 2024.

If you have submitted your ROI and still have not been pre-invited, there's still chance!

However, if your ROI is not selected then you will have to wait till the new financial year which starts on 1 July 2024 and watch for updates regarding quota allocation and the reopening of Victoria's ROI window.
